9:00 – 10:00 AM – Begin Trek to Marchoi Meadow

• Distance: ~6-7 km (one-way)
• Elevation Gain: ~7,800 ft to ~9,500 ft
• Trail Overview: The trail ascends through dense pine forests, crosses small wooden bridges, and offers beautiful views of meadows and snow-capped peaks.
• Spot local shepherd huts and grazing livestock along the way.
• Take short breaks to enjoy the serene atmosphere and capture photos.

12:30 PM – Arrive at Marchoi Meadow

• Explore the vast alpine meadow surrounded by snow-capped peaks and lush greenery.
• Relax by the streams and enjoy the tranquility.
• Have your packed lunch while soaking in the views.
• Optional: Interact with local Gujjar shepherds and learn about their way of life.

2:00 PM – Start Return Trek to Naranag

• Begin the descent via the same route.
• Enjoy a different perspective of the landscape on your way down.
• Take your time to capture last-minute scenic shots.

4:00 PM – Explore Naranag Village & Temple

• If time permits, enjoy tea at a local dhaba and explore more of the village.
• Visit the Wangath River for some peaceful moments before heading back.

5:00 PM – Departure for Srinagar

• Start your return journey to Srinagar.
• Enjoy sunset views along the way.

7:30 PM – Arrive Back in Srinagar

• End of the day and drop at Srinagar.
